Steve is a community‑minded individual with lifelong roots in the Democratic Party. He has lived in Tempe for over 35 years and is a graduate of Arizona State University. He currently serves as a State Committee Member for the Arizona Democratic Party.
Steve brings extensive technical and program expertise in health and human services (HHS) social safety net programs. His background includes 10 years with the Arizona Department of Economic Security, where he served as Chief Information Officer for the Division of Child Support Enforcement. He later spent more than 20 years consulting with states’ HHS providing quality assurance and quality improvement services, ultimately serving as President and CEO of the firm. He offers an informed and thoughtful perspective grounded in public service, leadership, and altruism.
